Thanks to all your generous donations we have raised the full amount needed for the toilet project. While we wait for the money to be processed in Washington, we are working with our schools, the administration and contsruction companies to get our plans in order.
We are so excited to get to work. We will do our best to keep you updated on everything going on over here and include pictures when possible.
Thanks again for your amazing support and generousity. We couldn't have done one bit of this without you.

We are amazed! We are down to $425. This is hardly anything compared to where we started. We have come so far and that is all thanks to your generous donations. This is a last call to those who have been intending to give and haven't gotten around to it. This is a time when just a few more small donations will get us to the finish line.
First Bell is tomorrow- it was our goal to have the project funded before school started, but we thought that might have been unrealistic. But now we are so close and we can make it happen with one final push today and tomorrow.
We are so encouraged by your generosity and we will be so excited to be able to break ground with our school early this fall. Thanks for all your support.

Almost halfway there!

We are really humbled and excited by the outpouring of support we received in just the first couple of weeks of the project being posted. We were working at an ecological camp for a week with no internet access and were pleasantly surprised at the end of that week to see over $3,000 raised. The next few days after that when we were able to check internet it was a treat to get on and see that "amount still needed" number going down.
We wanted to take this chance to say a huge, "THANK YOU" to everyone who has been able to support this project so far. We are really blown away with how far we have come so quickly.
In the last few days, however, we have come to a stand still. We want to use this as a chance to ask those of you who wanted to give but put if off, to go ahead and do it now! We know there are a lot of people who looked at the website and meant to get back to it later or who wanted to wait to give until the end of the month.
The school year is fast approaching and we'd love to have the majority of the support raised before September 1st when we celebrate First Bell. We want this project to take off with the school year so we can still be here to see it get started and to update you on the progress being made. So, now is your chance to give and help us keep this amazing support moving.

We got approval for our toilet project!! Now it's time to spread the word and start giving! We will post here regularly to keep you updated on the fundraising and later to let you know what is going on with construction of the toilets! We are so excited for you to be a part of this live-changing endeavor in our last few months here in Ukraine. We are racing the clock with this project so we want to get the word out and get this money raised quickly so we can break ground and finish Phase 1 of the Toilet project before we head home in December. Thanks for being are partners in this- we'll keep you updated.
