Almost halfway there!

We are really humbled and excited by the outpouring of support we received in just the first couple of weeks of the project being posted. We were working at an ecological camp for a week with no internet access and were pleasantly surprised at the end of that week to see over $3,000 raised. The next few days after that when we were able to check internet it was a treat to get on and see that "amount still needed" number going down.
We wanted to take this chance to say a huge, "THANK YOU" to everyone who has been able to support this project so far. We are really blown away with how far we have come so quickly.
In the last few days, however, we have come to a stand still. We want to use this as a chance to ask those of you who wanted to give but put if off, to go ahead and do it now! We know there are a lot of people who looked at the website and meant to get back to it later or who wanted to wait to give until the end of the month.
The school year is fast approaching and we'd love to have the majority of the support raised before September 1st when we celebrate First Bell. We want this project to take off with the school year so we can still be here to see it get started and to update you on the progress being made. So, now is your chance to give and help us keep this amazing support moving.
